Hiking
There are many well maintained hiking trails on Quadra Island, thanks to the volunteers of the Quadra Island trails Committee. HIkes range from moderate to challenging, and vary in length as well, from a couple of hours, to over six. Trails Committee produces a up a trails map at the Heriot Bay Inn gift shop or several other locationslocations, which has details about every trail.

Shellalligan Pass
Located on the east side of Quadra Island, encounter terrain form fern carpeted forests to clam strewn beaches with the opportunity of viewing a variety of plant and wildlife species.
Morte Lake
This is forest and lake country. Enjoy a lakeside picnic and maybe a swim in the crystal clear water, as you circumnavigate Morte Lake.
Chinese Mountains
A popular hike: picnic above soaring eagles with a spectacular view of Rebecca Spit and the Discovery Passage. This is an incredible orientation to the geography of Quadra Island.
Maude Island
A long hike (6 hours), journeying overland to Maude Island. Here you can view spectacular tidal action and picnic above the stunning view.
